This segment also manufactures high-performance greases and specialty glass for consumer appliances and electronics. The Specialties segment supplies bromine-based chemicals, lithium solutions for various industrial uses, and products for fire safety, pharmaceuticals, and pyrotechnical applications including airbag initiators. The Ketjen segment provides catalyst technology encompassing hydroprocessing catalysts, fluidized catalytic cracking catalysts, and performance catalyst solutions for petroleum refining and chemical processing.

The company generates revenue across energy storage, specialty chemicals, and catalysts, with significant exposure to the growing lithium-ion battery market and traditional refining catalysts. Operations span North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific, positioning the company to serve both developed and developing markets across its key end-use industries.
