Core offerings include D-VAR systems for voltage and power flow control, reactive compensation solutions (actiVAR and armorVAR), and volt-var optimization software for distribution networks. The segment also supplies ship protection systems that reduce magnetic signatures for naval vessels, along with related power delivery, generation, and propulsion systems for maritime applications. Additionally, it manufactures transformers and rectifiers for power conversion applications.

The Wind segment, branded as Windtec Solutions, designs wind turbine systems licensed to third-party manufacturers and supplies associated power electronics, control software, and engineering services. The company's wind drivetrain portfolio covers turbines rated at 2 megawatts and above. Headquartered in Ayer, Massachusetts, American Superconductor operates globally with approximately 569 full-time employees and serves customers across North America, Europe, and international markets through its grid and wind energy business lines.
