About AMERICAN WOODMARK CORP

American Woodmark Corporation manufactures and distributes kitchen, bath, and home organization cabinetry products for the residential remodeling and new construction markets. The company operates across multiple customer channels, including home improvement retailers, residential builders, and independent dealers and distributors. It manufactures cabinetry under approximately a dozen brands including American Woodmark, Timberlake, Shenandoah Cabinetry, Waypoint Living Spaces, and several brands sold through major retailers such as Home Depot and Lowe's, including allen + roth, Hampton Bay, and Home Decorators Collection.

Beyond manufacturing, the company provides turnkey installation services to its direct builder customers through a network of service centers across the United States. This service offering represents a differentiated component of its builder business segment, allowing the company to capture value through the complete cabinet-to-installation chain rather than product sales alone.

The company employs approximately 7,800 full-time workers and operates manufacturing and distribution facilities supporting operations across the continental United States. Founded in 1951, American Woodmark is headquartered in Winchester, Virginia and maintains a market presence across both the mid-range and value-oriented segments of the kitchen and bath cabinet market. The company's diverse brand portfolio and multi-channel distribution approach position it to serve various price points and customer preferences within the residential cabinet market.
