Broadcom designs and manufactures semiconductor devices and infrastructure software solutions for enterprise and data center customers globally. The Infrastructure Software segment provides a private cloud software portfolio acquired through the VMware integration, offering cloud foundation platforms, edge computing, and data services. This segment also includes mainframe software covering automation, database management, and cybersecurity tools, as well as endpoint and network security products serving enterprise customers. The combination of semiconductor and software businesses positions the company across multiple data center and networking infrastructure layers.

With approximately 33,000 full-time employees and headquarters in Palo Alto, California, Broadcom operates internationally with revenue generation across enterprise networking, data center infrastructure, telecommunications equipment, wireless base stations, and consumer broadband applications.
