Brookfield Infrastructure Partners operates critical infrastructure assets across utilities, transport, midstream energy, and data segments globally. The Utilities segment manages approximately 2,900 kilometers of electricity transmission lines and 3,900 kilometers of natural gas pipelines, serving 8.4 million electricity and gas connections alongside meter management and home services including heating, cooling, and water solutions. The Transport segment controls roughly 21,000 kilometers of track and motorways, providing freight, commodity storage, and passenger transportation services across rail and road networks.

The Midstream segment operates approximately 15,000 kilometers of natural gas transmission pipelines and 570 billion cubic feet of storage capacity, supplemented by 16 processing plants and 10,600 kilometers of gathering pipelines. It also maintains 525,000 tonnes of polypropylene production capacity. The Data segment comprises approximately 306,000 operational telecom towers, 28,000 kilometers of fiber optic cable, 140 data centers with one gigawatt of critical load capacity, and two semiconductor manufacturing foundries.

The partnership operates across the United States, Canada, India, the United Kingdom, Brazil, Colombia, France, Australia, Germany, and other international markets. Brookfield Infrastructure was incorporated in 2007 and is domiciled in Hamilton, Bermuda, with operations structured as a limited partnership listed on the New York Stock Exchange.
