The company operates through four primary segments: Bruker Scientific Instruments (BSI) BioSpin, which focuses on magnetic resonance and preclinical imaging; BSI CALID, covering life science mass spectrometry and molecular diagnostics; BSI Nano, offering nanoscale analysis and microscopy instruments; and Bruker Energy & Supercon Technologies, providing superconducting materials and related equipment. Key product lines include the MALDI Biotyper platform for microbial identification, portable analytical detection systems, X-ray fluorescence spectrometry instruments, and automated metrology and inspection equipment.

Headquartered in Billerica, Massachusetts and incorporated in Delaware, Bruker maintains operations across North America, Europe, and the Asia Pacific region. The company serves pharmaceutical, biotechnology, academic research, and industrial customers globally. Bruker was founded in 1960 and is publicly listed on Nasdaq under the ticker BRKR.
