First Busey Corporation is the bank holding company for Busey Bank, a regional financial institution providing retail and commercial banking services across the United States. The company serves individual, corporate, institutional, and governmental customers through a range of deposit products, including demand and savings accounts, money market instruments, and individual retirement accounts. Loan offerings span residential real estate mortgages, home equity lines of credit, consumer loans, commercial loans, commercial real estate financing, construction loans, and agricultural loans. The company also provides cash management services to corporate clients and maintains a network of automated teller machines and technology-based banking channels.

The company operates through three segments: Banking, which handles core deposit and lending operations; Wealth Management, encompassing asset management, investment advisory, brokerage services, fiduciary administration, financial planning, and tax preparation; and FirsTech, a payment technology division offering text-based mobile bill pay, interactive voice response systems, electronic payment concentration, lockbox processing, merchant services referral solutions, and treasury management tools.

With approximately 2,000 full-time employees, First Busey operates as a mid-sized regional bank headquartered in Leawood, Kansas. The company was founded in 1868 and is incorporated in Nevada with shares traded on the Nasdaq exchange.
