Companhia Energética de Minas Gerais (CEMIG) is a Brazilian utility company engaged in the generation, transmission, distribution, and sale of electricity, as well as gas distribution and related energy services. The company operates an integrated energy infrastructure across Brazil, with generation capacity sourced primarily from hydroelectric plants, supplemented by wind and solar facilities.

The generation segment includes 36 hydroelectric plants with a combined capacity of 4,449 megawatts, 2 wind farms totaling 70.8 megawatts, and 10 photovoltaic stations with 158.99 megawatts. CEMIG operates 357,044 miles of distribution lines and 4,754 miles of transmission lines, serving its customer base across the country. Beyond core electricity distribution, the company is involved in gas acquisition, transportation, and distribution, along with energy trading, renewable energy project development, and energy efficiency services.

With headquarters in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, the company employs approximately 5,028 full-time employees.
