The Natural Gas segment operates across Indiana, Minnesota, Ohio, and Texas, providing intrastate sales, transportation, and distribution services to residential, commercial, and industrial customers. The company also owns and operates approximately 208 miles of intrastate pipeline in Louisiana and Texas. Additionally, CenterPoint provides ancillary services including home appliance maintenance and repair through subsidiary operations in select markets.

With 8,794 full-time employees, CenterPoint operates 355 substations with a combined transformer capacity of 81,692 megavolt amperes. The company was incorporated in Texas and has roots dating to 1866.
