Measurement & Analytical supplies instrumentation for monitoring physical properties such as pressure, temperature, flow, and water quality through Micro Motion and Rosemount. Discrete Automation offers solenoid valves, pneumatic equipment, electric linear motion systems, and programmable automation controls for discrete manufacturers. Control Systems & Software provides industrial process control platforms including DeltaV and Ovation. The Safety & Productivity segment manufactures professional tools and equipment under RIDGID, Greenlee, and related brands. Test & Measurement delivers automated test systems.

The company maintains a global footprint spanning the Americas, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. Emerson employs approximately 71,000 full-time staff across its operations and maintains headquarters in Saint Louis, Missouri. Founded in 1890, the company is incorporated in Missouri and listed on the New York Stock Exchange.
