The company serves customers in advanced technologies, manufacturing, life sciences, mining and metals, traditional energy, and government sectors, offering both capital project delivery and ongoing maintenance and staffing support.

The company operates three business segments. Urban Solutions delivers EPC and project management services to advanced manufacturing and infrastructure clients, while also providing technical staffing and maintenance services. Energy Solutions focuses on traditional oil and gas markets—including production, fuels, chemicals, LNG, and power—alongside emerging energy transition markets such as nuclear power, hydrogen, carbon capture, and renewable fuels. Mission Solutions serves U.S. and other government agencies, providing technical solutions, site management, environmental remediation, nuclear decommissioning, and operations support for military and civilian nuclear facilities.

Fluor employs approximately 23,000 full-time employees and maintains a substantial international presence, executing projects and providing services across North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, and other regions. The company was incorporated in Delaware and is headquartered in Irving, Texas.
