Global Partners LP operates as an oil and gas midstream company engaged in the purchasing, selling, gathering, blending, storing, and logistics of petroleum products and renewable fuels. The Commercial segment supplies unbranded gasoline, home heating oil, diesel, and custom blended fuels to public sector, commercial, and industrial end-users, including bunker fuel sales.

Global Partners employs approximately 3,300 full-time employees and maintains headquarters in Waltham, Massachusetts. The company is publicly traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker GLP-PB and was established in 2005.
