The company operates through three segments: Texture & Healthful Solutions, which encompasses ingredient solutions across its portfolio; Food & Industrial Ingredients LATAM, serving Central and South American markets; and Food & Industrial Ingredients U.S./CANADA, covering North American operations. Ingredion also produces specialty materials for biodegradable plastics, fabric care products, and other biomaterial applications.
With approximately 11,200 full-time employees and headquarters in Westchester, Illinois, Ingredion operates a global manufacturing and distribution network. The company was founded in 1906 as Corn Products International and adopted its current name in 2012.
