The Seating segment designs and manufactures complete seat systems and related components, including seat structures, mechanisms, trim covers, and integrated thermal comfort features such as heating, ventilation, and active cooling systems. The company also supplies surface materials including leather and fabric for various vehicle types ranging from compact cars to sport utility vehicles and trucks.

The E-Systems segment produces electrical distribution and connection systems that manage power and signal routing within vehicles. This includes wire harnesses, terminals, connectors, junction boxes, and control modules. The segment also develops electronic components for body domain control, high voltage power management, and software solutions including cybersecurity applications. Lear operates under multiple brands including Guilford, Eagle Ottawa, IGB Automotive, and Comfortflex by Lear, serving customers across North America, Europe, Africa, Asia, and South America.
