Mueller Industries manufactures and distributes copper, brass, and aluminum products for plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, and industrial applications. Founded in 1917 and headquartered in Collierville, Tennessee, the company operates across North America, the United Kingdom, Asia, and the Middle East, employing approximately 4,832 full-time workers.

The company's operations are organized into three segments. The Piping Systems segment produces copper tubes, fittings, line sets, and related plumbing components, serving wholesalers, distributors, building material retailers, and air-conditioning manufacturers. The Industrial Metals segment supplies brass, bronze, and copper alloy rods and shapes, along with machined aluminum and copper products for automotive and industrial applications, as well as specialty tubing for OEMs in construction, refrigeration, and electrical transmission markets. The Climate segment provides valves, heat exchangers, flexible duct systems, and high-pressure components for the HVAC and refrigeration sectors.

Mueller Industries generates revenue primarily through direct sales to wholesalers, OEMs, and distributors across its end markets. The company serves major customer categories including the plumbing industry, recreational vehicle manufacturers, HVAC OEMs, and industrial equipment producers. Distribution channels include wholesalers specializing in plumbing and refrigeration products as well as building material retailers.
