Par Pacific Holdings operates an integrated energy company focused on refining crude oil and retailing fuel and convenience products across the United States. The company converts crude oil into gasoline, distillate, asphalt, and other petroleum products through its refining operations. On the retail side, it operates convenience stores and fuel outlets under the Hele, 76, and nomnom brands, alongside unattended cardlock fuel stations that serve both consumer and commercial customers.

The company's business is organized into three segments. The Refining segment handles crude oil conversion at owned and operated facilities. The Retail segment comprises company-operated convenience stores and fuel stations that sell gasoline, diesel, and merchandise including prepared food and beverages. The Logistics segment owns and operates an extensive network of terminals, pipelines, trucking operations, marine vessels, storage facilities, and rail infrastructure that move ethanol, petroleum products, and refined goods. This segment also includes specialized assets such as jet fuel storage and pipelines serving Ellsworth Air Force Base and Joint Base Lewis McChord, as well as interests in crude oil pipeline access and refined products transportation infrastructure.

Par Pacific operates with approximately 1,758 full-time employees and maintains headquarters in Houston, Texas. The company was incorporated in Delaware in 1984 and took its current name in October 2015.
