Power Solutions International manufactures integrated engine and power system solutions for industrial and commercial applications. The company designs and produces compression ignition and spark-ignition internal combustion engines, combined with fully assembled power systems that incorporate fuel systems, cooling systems, electronic controls, air intake systems, exhaust systems, and hydraulic components. The company also engineers and manufactures large custom-integrated electrical power generation systems for standby and prime power applications, as well as mobile and stationary gensets serving emergency standby, rental, prime power, and microgrid markets.

Beyond core engine and genset offerings, Power Solutions supplies power systems and components to manufacturers of vocational vehicles, including school buses, transit buses, and utility tractors. The company also serves end markets including oil and gas compression, data centers, renewable energy resiliency applications, forklifts, agricultural irrigation pumps, aerial lift platforms, and ground support equipment. Additionally, it manufactures power system enclosures and sources electrification components to support product integration.

Headquartered in Wood Dale, Illinois, Power Solutions operates with approximately 700 full-time employees and serves customers across North America, the Pacific Rim, Europe, and international markets. The company operates as a subsidiary of Weichai America Corp. and was founded in 1985.
