Textron Inc. manufactures and services aircraft, helicopters, unmanned systems, and industrial equipment across commercial, defense, and government markets globally. The company operates through six business segments that span aerospace, defense, and industrial product lines. Textron Aviation produces business jets, turboprop and piston aircraft, and military trainer platforms, along with flight training devices and maintenance services. The Bell segment supplies military and commercial helicopters and tiltrotor aircraft with associated spare parts and support services.

The Textron Systems segment develops unmanned aircraft systems, electronic systems, advanced marine craft, aircraft engines, military training services, and armored vehicles. The Industrial segment manufactures blow-molded plastic fuel tanks and battery systems for automotive applications, as well as golf cars, off-road utility vehicles, turf-maintenance equipment, and ground support equipment. Textron eAviation focuses on electric and combustion-powered light aircraft development and sustainable aviation research. A Finance segment provides financing services for aircraft and helicopter purchases.

Headquartered in Providence, Rhode Island, Textron operates with approximately 34,000 full-time employees and maintains a global footprint serving commercial, defense, and industrial customers. The company was founded in 1923 and is incorporated in Delaware.
