Orion S.A. manufactures and sells carbon black products for industrial applications across multiple end markets. The company operates two primary business segments: Specialty Carbon Black and Rubber Carbon Black. The specialty segment produces post-treated grades used in coatings and printing applications, as well as high-purity grades for the fiber industry and conductive grades for batteries, polymers, and coatings. The rubber carbon black segment supplies reinforcing and semi-reinforcing grades for tire manufacturing and mechanical rubber goods applications, marketed under the ECORAX brand and serving automotive production, construction, and consumer applications.

The company operates manufacturing and distribution facilities across North America, South America, and Europe, with significant presence in the United States, Brazil, Germany, France, Poland, the Czech Republic, and Spain. International operations also extend into Turkey, South Africa, Italy, and Asia, including China and South Korea. Orion employs approximately 1,639 full-time employees and maintains its headquarters in Senningerberg, Luxembourg. The company was established in 1862 and changed its legal name from Orion Engineered Carbons S.A. to Orion S.A. in June 2023.
